James Grant
James Grant lived in St. Michael's Estate for many years, where he raised a large family. He is a member of the Men's programme in the area. He has participated in many activities in the local community, particularly around regeneration.
Rose Martin
Rose Martin lived in Block 4 on St. Michael’s Estate for many years. She was an active member of St. Michael’s Estate Blocks committee and Task Force. Rose moved to Emmet Crescent on the successful phase one of the regeneration. Over the years she has worked and campaigned for Senior Citizens.

Geraldine Cramp
Geraldine Cramp lived on St. Michael's Estate for many years, along with her wider extended family. She is very caring for her family and a good neighbour. Geraldine moved in the first phase of regeneration to Emmet Crescent.

Ann Marie Brennan
Ann Marie Brennan grew up in St. Michael's Estate and lived in different parts of the estate. She became a Community and Tenants Activist and was Chairperson of the Blocks Committee; she is also on the St. Michael's Estate Task Force and is an active member of The Family Resource Centre Board of Management. She loves the Inchicore area and lives in Emmet Crescent, and continues to play a significant role in her community.

Col. Tom Kehoe
At the time of the 1916 Rising, the 17-year-old Tom Kehoe was part of the garrison at Jacobs. He went on to become a member of Michael Collin’s Squad. ‘Long Tom’ became renowned for his reckless bravery and uncanny marksmanship. Kehoe Barracks and the subsequent Keogh’s Square were named after him.
Pauline Tunstead
Pauline Tunstead lived in Tower 2 of St. Michael's Estate. She reared a large family there. She was one of the families to move to the first phase of regeneration in Emmet Crescent and the last one to close the door on her flat in that tower.
Sister Jarlath
Sister Jarlath was well-known and well-loved in Keogh Square and St Michaels CBS
"Sr. Jarlath who taught me at infant school in Golden Bridge had a real care for the poor and would collect second-hand clothing to distribute amongst them. I have a distinct memory of her asking a boy in my class why he was not wearing the ‘good’ clothes she had given him a day or two before. He very simply replied that his mother had sold them. She needed the money for food”.

Jo Kennedy
Jo Kennedy is a Sister of Mercy and a feminist. She came to live on St. Michael's Estate over thirty years ago. She set up several key local projects, such as The Family Resource Centre, St. Michael's Youth Project, and Hessed House Counselling service. She is currently a member of The Regeneration Team and The Family Resource Centre's Board of Management.

Caroline Mc Nulty
Caroline Mc Nulty was one of the last tenants to leave St. Michael's Estate. She worked tirelessly within the regeneration process, campaigning collectively for the construction of Thornton Heights, where she now lives, and was an active member of the St. Michael's Estate Blocks Committee and Regeneration Board.

Nicky Fahey
Nicky Fahey played an active role on the St. Michael's Estate Blocks committee and St. Michael's Estate Regeneration Board. She fought hard to create the right conditions for a new community for herself and her young family. She now lives in the wider Inchicore area but is still an active volunteer in the community.
Brother Hugh Bradshaw
Former Principal in 1970s. He was responsible for organising the Jubilee celebrations for the CBS at St Michael's in 1979.
Shay Hurley
Former Principal and brother from 1982 to 1986. He had the gym at Richmond Barracks restored and assembled and took care of the CBS and Richmond Barracks to this day.
Jim Maher
Jim Maher lived in St. Michael's Estate for over thirty years and was among the last to leave. He is still very connected to the community and returns to visit every day. He now lives in Mount Brown, Kilmainham.
Marian Keogh
Marian Keogh lived on St. Michael's Estate for over 20 years and reared a large family there. She was one of the co-founders, along with many other women of the Family Resource Centre. She was an artist in the exhibitions Unspoken Truths' and 'Once Is Too Much'. Marian and her family moved in the first phase of the regeneration to Emmet Crescent, along with the many old neighbours.

Nelly Kinnane
Nelly Kinnane lived in block three of St. Michael's Estate. She was one of the first members of the Block Committee. She worked tirelessly for her community and volunteered for Dublin City Council's Local Estate Office. Nelly moved during the first phase of regeneration to the senior citizen's complex, where she continues to play an active role. She was also a member of St. Michael's Estate Task Force and worked in the broader area on the Inchicore & Kilmainham Development Group.

Michael Flanagan
Michael Flanagan is a member of the St. Michael's Estate Regeneration Board. He is secretary of the Inchicore and Kilmainham Heritage Group and The Francis Ledwidge Society. He has worked tirelessly for the recognition and promotion of key historic sites in Inchicore, including Richmond Barracks. He is a poet, writer and artist.

Rita Fagan
Rita Fagan came to St. Michael's Estate as a student. She has worked on St. Michael's Estate at the Family Resource Centre Community Development Project for almost 30 years. During this time, she has been very active in the campaign for the regeneration process of the land. She also campaigns to defend, protect and sustain the Community Sector from austerity.
Liam O'Meara
Liam lived in St. Michael's from 1987 to 2004. Married to Eileen Wynne, formerly of Keogh Square, Liam is an author whose works include "The Bayno" and "From Richmond Barracks to Keogh Sq". He is also the Chairman of the Inchicore Ledwidge Society.
Tara O'Brien
Tara O'Brien grew up in No. 70, St. Michael's Estate. It became the first home of The Family Resource Centre. Tara became a mother herself and lived on St. Michael's Estate. She was in the first group of tenants to move to Emmet Crescent.
Michael Hartnett
Micheal O Hairtnead is one of Ireland's most loved poets. Born in Limerick in 1941, his first collection, "Anatomy of a Cliché", was published by Dolmen Press in 1968. A controversial writer, he wrote both in the English and Irish languages and translated several medieval Irish poets into English. In 1985, he published "Inchicore Haiku", which marked a return to new work published in English. "Inchicore Haiku" was followed by "Collected Poems Volume 1", published by Raven Arts Press/ Carcanet Press, "An Lia Nocht", published by Coiscéim, and a translation of "Dáithí Ó Bruadair (1623-1698), O Bruadair", published by the Gallery Press.
