A preview of our Culture Connects programme for autumn 2024

Culture Connects is our year-round programme that invites people in Dublin to try out new things.

We offer ways for people to make and create together, to share ideas and connect through culture and conversation.

Our autumn programme is now available, with a variety of activities for all ages to try.

“The teachers are amazing , the staff kind and helpful. I feel like I’ve found a real gem . Thank you so much!”

We welcome back Singing Artist in Residence, Michael McCartan, and Dance Artists in Residence, Philippa Donnellan and Mia DiChiaro. They run popular weekly workshops, in a relaxed and friendly environment. Sing for Fun is for anyone interested in singing as part of a group to feel good. Dance Delights is an opportunity to try out different dance styles in a relaxed and friendly environment. No prior experience of singing or dance is needed, and you can move at your own pace.

Other workshops on offer this autumn include Ukulele for Beginners, Introduction to pastels, and Creating through Impressionism. Join Change Clothes Crumlin for Sustainable Saturdays: Reuse and Repair Social, and use your creativity to keep textiles out of landfill, chat and meet new people. Learn about nettles, flax and native Irish trees with our Eco-Gardener in Residence.

“I was a bit apprehensive as I knew nobody, but a lovely hour spent. Choir master was so enthusiastic about music and singing… simply a joy.”
