Meet artists, makers, producers and small businesses and celebrate the winter season. This festive favourite is a family-friendly event, with entertainment and free creative workshops for all ages.

Details of our Christmas Fair 2024

Here’s a taste of what you can expect:

Stalls

Pick up beautiful gifts, delicious treats and sustainable goods for your Christmas list. Meet the creators and makers who design beautiful and one-of-a-kind products for your home.

We are welcoming over 30 vendors, including:

Colourful Christmas wreaths made at the Richmond Barracks Christmas Fair workshops

Creative Workshops

Try out free festive workshops for all ages, including seasonal crafts, dance, decorations make-and-do, singing and upcycling. No need to book in advance; just collect a ticket at reception on the day.

Clodagh from Inchicore Library reads stories to little ones at a Richmond Barracks Fair

Inchicore Library

The library will be open each day. Along with their usual services, they will have special events for young people, including a very special Christmas storytime for little ones and their teddies.

Entertainment

Enjoy cheery musical performances from choirs and bands, with seasonal songs from local groups and musicians.

Food and Drink

FoodCloud Kitchen will be serving a daily menu created using seasonal ingredients sourced from Irish suppliers. You can also enjoy delicious food and warm drinks from an interesting range of food trucks in the garden.

Walking Tours

Our guided walking tours explore local biodiversity, the area’s historical connections to 1916 and Goldenbridge, Ireland’s first garden cemetery. You can join one of our guided walking tours during the Fair with options across both days.
