Summer Camps 2025

We have a range of camps over the summer holidays for children and teenagers from 7 to 16 years of age. They offer an opportunity to try out new things and work on creative projects together.

Booking for summer camps opens on 1 May at 10 am. Places are very limited, so advanced booking is advised.

There is a small charge of €10 for the three days for one participant, or €15 for two or more participants in the same family, to go towards the cost of equipment and refreshments. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

3-day Children's History Summer Camp - for 9 to 12 year olds

Tuesday 15, Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 July, 10 am to 2 pm

Booking opens 1 May at 10 am

Join Dublin’s Historian in Residence for Children Dervilia Roche to explore history through games and crafts. Learn about the different chapters of Dublin’s fascinating history, create your own artworks inspired by some of the subjects, and enjoy fun interactive games in the historic setting of Richmond Barracks. 


3-day Maker Camp - for 10 to 12 year olds

Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August, 10 am to 12 pm

Booking opens 1 May at 10 am

Join comedy and tech whizz Aidan Fitzmaurice for a fun-filled Maker Camp where you can learn electronics and technology skills and work on projects together. This will be a creative space where mistakes are welcomed and exploration is encouraged! 


3-day Maker Camp - for 13 to 16 year olds

Wednesday 6, Thursday 7 and Friday 8 August, 1 pm to 3 pm

Booking opens 1 May at 10 am

3-day Green Club: biodiversity summer camp - for 7 to 10 year olds

Tuesday 12 August to Thursday 14 August, 10 am to 12 pm

Booking opens 1 May at 10 am

Join Eco-Gardener in Residence Polly Rowley-Sams and discover more about native Irish animals, plants and the environment. Learn about biodiversity and nature, try out some eco-gardening and have fun making new friends in the outdoors. 


3-day Young Artists' Camp - for 9 to 11 year olds

Tuesday 19, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 August, 11 am to 1 pm

Booking opens 1 May at 10 am

Join artist Kate Escolin and learn how to develop your ideas from initial sketches to finished artworks. Explore new projects each day, from zine making and comic making to illustration and character design. This will be a creative space where mistakes are welcomed and exploration is encouraged! 


3-day Young Artists' Camp - for 12 to 15 year olds

Tuesday 19, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 August, 2 pm to 4 pm

Booking opens 1 of May at 10 am

Culture Connects is our year-round programme that invites people in Dublin to try out new things. We offer ways for people to make and create together, to share ideas and connect through culture and conversation.
