The Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) is a small press comic book event, created to showcase local comic creators and celebrate the spectrum of Irish sequential art.
DCAF is a free admission, non-ticketed event, and it's a great place to discover new comics, meet the creators, and learn more about the Irish comic book scene.
This year's festival will feature over 50 exhibitors, including local comic artists, publishers, and retailers. There will also be a variety of workshops and events, including:
Drawing workshops: Learn from experienced comic artists on how to create your own comics and illustrations.
Panel discussions: Hear from comic creators and industry experts on various topics, such as storytelling, publishing, and independent comics.
Book signings: Meet your favourite comic artists and get your copies of their books signed.
DCAF is a family-friendly event with something for everyone to enjoy. There will be food and drinks vendors on site too. So mark your calendars and join us for a weekend of comic book fun at Richmond Barracks.
When: Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 October
Time: 11am to 4pm
Price: Free to attend
