The Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) is back with its final event of 2023.
Established as a platform for local comic creators, the Dublin Comic Arts Festival (DCAF) is a small press comic book event created to showcase and celebrate the spectrum of Irish sequential art.
DCAF stands out as a free-entry, unticketed event, providing a fun opportunity to explore fresh comics, engage with creators, and delve into the Irish comic book scene. The upcoming festival has a jampacked lineup of over 50 exhibitors featuring local comic artists, publishers, and retailers. Attendees can enjoy an array of activities, including:
Drawing Workshops: Gain insights from seasoned comic artists on crafting your own comics and illustrations.
Panel Discussions: Listen to comic creators and industry experts share insights on storytelling, publishing, and independent comics.
Book Signings: Meet your favourite comic artists and have your copies of their works personally signed.
DCAF prides itself on being family-friendly, ensuring there's something for everyone. Additionally, onsite food and drink vendors, such as The Crêpe Escape and Happy Out Coffee, will add to the festival experience. Save the date for a weekend of comic book enjoyment at Richmond Barracks.
