Mondays at the Mess: 'Dublin Graveyards' with Pat Garry

Our Mondays at the Mess talk ‘Dublin Graveyards’ with Pat Garry is now available to watch.

From Glasnevin to Goldenbridge, tour guide Pat Garry takes us through the rich history of Dublin's graveyards and cemeteries; how they developed over the years, their political, social and religious impact and the battle against body snatchers.

In this talk, Pat will also tell the stories of some of the men, women and children buried in Goldenbridge Garden Cemetery, Ireland's first non denominational cemetery. People from all walks of life, young and old, rich and poor who now share a common resting place.
