Our next fair will take place Saturday and Sunday 4 and 5 February 2023 and will be all about celebrating Spring, Imbolc and St Brigid's Day.
Imbolc is a Gaelic traditional festival celebrating the beginning of Spring, new growth and new creation. Read more about the connections between Imbolc and St Brigid's Day here.
This fair will particularly celebrate the impact of women in business, products that empower women and girls and will also support local enterprises with a strong focus on women in enterprise.
Visitors will be invited to stop by to shop from women and men in business - artists, makers and services. They can attend a Spring themed family friendly workshop and enjoy some locally sourced food and talented local musicians and entertainers.
We’re looking for a host of seasonal-related stalls that will suit this fair. We are especially interested in hearing from women-focussed initiatives, whether that is owned by, run by, designed by, created by or made for women.
We are inviting social enterprises, local creative designers, makers and illustrators, food vendors, craftspeople and artists to apply. We would also welcome applications from organisations that celebrate nature. We welcome applications from people living locally and from those who can travel to the Fair both days.
Our Fairs at Richmond Barracks are very popular, with thousands of visitors each weekend, all enjoying interesting stalls and creative workshops and enjoying delicious food and drinks supplied by our vendors.
Applications closed on Friday December 16, 2022 at 5 pm.
The application was for taking a stall at the St Brigid's Day fair and committing to trading and/or staffing in on both Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February 2023. Should your application be successful, a set fee of €70 for the two days will be requested to secure your booking. Our Fair is open to vendors who live locally as well as to those who can travel to the Fair on both days.
Please feel free to email us if you have any questions about your event registration or the fair on fairs@richmondbarracks.ie
