Readings by the Richmond Barracks Writers group

Reading's from the Richmond Barracks Writer's Group will take place in the Café area at 3pm on Sunday February 5. 

 

Brigid is the Goddess/Patron of Poetry and Bardic Lore, which includes all storytellers, mythologists, historians and musicians. In her honour and to celebrate this special weekend, the Richmond Barracks Writers will be presenting some of their work in the place where they took seed.

The Richmond Barracks Writers came together following a series of workshops with poet Enda Wyley in January 2020. They published their first anthology - ‘Illuminations’ - in April of last year.

Reading some of their poetry, and prose, will be Mary Mathews, Martina Kirwan, MJ O’Brien, Monica Kennedy, Margaret Mason and Áine Hayden.
