Summer fair workshop for children: recycled creations from history

Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche for a free, interactive workshop for children aged 9 to 12.

Create your own history-inspired crafts from salvaged materials, supplied by social enterprise ReCreate.

We will look at how to make a Viking boat, a knight’s shield, a dinosaur, and more, or see what other history creations you can think of!

This workshop is part of the Richmond Barracks Summer Fair. Some drop-in spaces will be available on the day. 

Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the workshop.

This is a drop-in workshop, so attendance will be first come, first served and subject to space availability.
